CDLC Updates

UPDATED 4/2/2020

CDLC's physical office space will be closed until further notice.  During this time, staff will continue to work from home and be accessible via email and voicemail

UPDATED 3/24/2020
CDLC has scheduled online Zoom meetings as a way to stay connected. We created these meetings to help you share thoughts on your new work environment, expound on innovative service ideas, and discuss opportunities for virtual engagement. You can also check in to just say hi as we take the time to support one and other!

UPDATED 3/20/2020

The CDLC Annual Meeting originally scheduled for May 7, 2020, has been indefinitely postponed.

UPDATED 3/17/2020

We are extending closing our physical office space through April 3 at which point we will reassess our situation.  During this time, staff will continue to work from home and be accessible via email and voicemail.

UPDATED 3/16/2020

Over the weekend we have closely followed communications from the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization and New York State Department of Health regarding the COVID-19 virus. With the information we have, we have decided to take the Governor's recommendation and close our physical office space through March 27 at which point we will reassess our situation.  During this time, staff will continue to work from home and be accessible via email and voicemail.

Presently, all meetings and events scheduled through April 3 have been cancelled or postponed. We hope to be able to reschedule many of these later in the year. Again, as the situation evolves, we will make determinations concerning the status of meeting and events beyond these dates, while following recommendations issued by state and federal authorities.

We recognize the role CDLC plays in providing services to our members. As of this time, virtual services will continue as normal, however, we are ceasing physical services such as delivery and interlibrary loan immediately.

UPDATED 3/11/2020

CDLC is monitoring the quickly evolving COVID-19 situation and looking to experts such as the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization and New York State Department of Health for guidance.

In an effort to align ourselves with recommendations for community mitigation and social distancing measures for higher education, we are cancelling all events scheduled through April 3. We hope to be able to reschedule many of these later in the year.

For events scheduled after April 3, we will make determinations as needed, following recommendations issued by state and federal authorities. We are maintaining an up-to-date list of program cancellations and changes and will be adding additional guidance regarding our operations and services as needed.

We recognize the role CDLC plays in providing services to our members. As of this time, all other services will continue as normal, however, please understand that many of our members are dealing with extenuating circumstances and there might be delays with both interlibrary loan and delivery.

We will continue to communicate any changes to you as the situation changes and update our website as needed.

Thank you for your understanding and patience in this uncertain time.

Updates on CDLC Resource Sharing Activities
