Very soon thousands of items from New York State will be added to the Digital Public Library of America, including over 10,000 items from CDLC members. Are you interested in learning more about New York Heritage and its role in the DPLA?
Then sign up to attend our DPLA program on Friday, February 27th. Kerri Willette, manager at the Empire State Digital Network, will join us to provide an overview of DPLA and the status of New York material in it. Chris Hunter, Vice President of Collections and Exhibitions at miSci in Schenectady and Abigail Stambach, College Archivist & Coordinator of Reference Services at The Sage Libraries, Troy and Albany, will discuss how they select items for digitization and create a workflow to regularly add material to New York Heritage.
This free event is open to all!
