Join us for the afternoon at one of our local gems, the Albany Institute of History and Art. The Institute staff will provide some special tours and displays just for CDLC members. We invite you to come for all or part of this great event.
At any point in the evening you can pick up some snacks at the reception and mingle with colleagues, visit the exhibit galleries, and drop into the library where staff will have some key items on display.
At 4:15 pm, Albany Institute staff will welcome us and provide an brief overview of the institution.
4:30 - A behind-the-scenes tour of the Institute's extensive storage areas.
5:15- Curator-guided tour of one of the museum's current exhibitions: Masterworks: Paper (see http://www.albanyinstitute.org/masterworks-paper.html)
The event is free, but space is limited on the tours, so early registration is highly encouraged.
For those who want to continue the fun, there are many restaurants within easy walking distance. The Institute staff will be happy to share their list and recommendations.
- Cost: Free for CDLC and ESLN Members
- Registration Deadline: August 9, 2016
- If you register and are unable to attend, please contact Susan D'Entrmont at email@example.com
