Continuing Education and Events: 10/04 - QuestionPoint Info Session

This guide contains current and upcoming events of interest to librarians, archivist, library staff, and others in Capital District Region.

QuestionPoint Info Session

CDLC Offices, 28 Essex Street, Albany

Tuesday, October 4
From 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Your users' information needs don't end at the library door or during hours that the library is unavailable. QuestionPoint provides a complete virtual reference management system, integrating chat, e-mail, a reference knowledge base, reports and analytic tools to give you a complete view of reference activity to meet these needs. Your library can utilize Question Point by joining Ask Us 24/7, the ESLN library council’s service that is backed by QuestionPoint. Ask Us 24/7 allows your library to expand its hours of service to offer live help anytime.

For those of you who are using the service, you have experienced the benefits of QuestionPoint. But may not be aware of all of its capabilities, functionalities and future enhancements. For those of you who have not explored the service, this is an opportunity to see QuestionPoint in use via a live demo, understand the benefits of the cooperative, especially Ask Us 24/7, and ask questions regarding implementation and how to get started.

Please join Karri Sites, QuestionPoint Library Services Consultant on Tuesday, October 4th at the Capital District Library Council’s office. She will be here to provide a demo, collect feedback from current users and answer any questions from interested libraries and current users.

  • Cost: Free for CDLC, SENYLRC, and ESLN Members
  • Registration Deadline: October 3, 2016
