Getting Ready for Library Advocacy

Learn how you can advocate for the needs of libraries, both on Library Advocacy Day and throughout the year.

Every library, every librarian, and every patron has a role to play in speaking up for libraries. The presentation will include a discussion of NYLA’s Legislative Agenda, the state budget process, the current political landscape, and strategizing for the future.

Jeremy Johannsen is the Executive Director of the New York Library Association.
