Please join us for a discussion on The Post-Digital Library: Consortial Perspectives and Possibilities at Schaffer Library at Union College on Monday December 4th from 2:00 pm-4:30 pm.
This event is a follow-up to a Post-Digital Library Symposium that was held at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in September. Topics will include an augmented reality collaborative project between the RPI Archives and Rensselaer County Historical Society; an information literacy game developed by professors and librarians at RPI; and how the RPI Archives were transformed into a digital platform showcasing the history of Troy.
Facilitated by Dr. Andrew White, Director of Rensselaer Libraries at RPI, and hosted by Robyn Reed, Head of Access Services Librarian at Union College, this program is open to all CDLC members interested in exploring the potential for such projects and initiatives in our region.
CDLC members attending the September symposium are encouraged to attend to share their reactions and perspectives.
An optional library tour will follow the discussion.
Parking and other information will be shared prior to the event.
